Atlas DS
A design system that let a fintech ship consistent product 3x faster.
Challenge
A 40-person fintech had four products drifting apart — same brand, four button styles, four shades of success-green. Every feature shipped with a bespoke UI tax and accessibility debt was compounding.
Approach
I audited all four products, built a three-tier token architecture with automated Figma-to-code sync, and designed the 42 core components around WCAG AA from the first draft — then embedded with each squad to migrate real screens, not just publish a library.
Result
Design-to-development handoff time dropped by two thirds and the audit-to-adoption cycle finished in one quarter. Accessibility violations in new features fell to near zero, and Atlas is now the hiring showcase for their design team.
